The Truman National Security Project partnered with Scott Circle Events to design, plan, and produce their first virtual annual conference - TruCon2020. SCE provided project management for all aspects of this four-day virtual attendee experience which consisted of two days of live broadcast production featuring high level national security experts and two days of secure interactive members-only programming.
SCE worked to prioritize stellar production value, polish, and accessibility for the two days of public programming for over 1,200 participants which featured several panels of subject matter experts and elected officials, video assets, animation, and an interactive Q&A and press component.
Scott Circle also provided strategic contingency planning, day-of tech support, speaker coordination, and live show calling. In addition to the public-facing component, SCE provided a secure virtual conference platform for a 200-person “members-only” conference which included functionality for registration integration, content population, staff and speaker training, attendee tech support and on-demand presentation delivery.
Since their return to in-person programming in 2021, the Truman Center has partnered with Scott Circle Events to produce a hybrid TruCon each year, allowing them to deliver customized content to live and virtual audiences.
