A career that has spanned two continents, Katie brings a domestic and international portfolio of knowledge and experience to her work at Scott Circle Events.

Before joining the company, Katie spent five years working in the technology industry for the Silicon Valley start-up MarkLogic as the company built and expanded their operations in the Asia-Pacific region. She worked in close collaboration with their field marketing team to implement an aggressive outreach program including trade shows, VIP dinners, PR strategy sessions and leadership training events. As the Conference & Events Coordinator for MarkLogic Australia, Katie was also actively involved in business development, overseeing the company’s proposals and submissions to government and financial institutions across the globe. Upon moving back to the United States, Katie served as Corporate Events Coordinator for MarkLogic America where she executed dozens of corporate events, incentive trips, and an annual 800+ person industry trade show.

Katie began her career in events working for the Cal Ripken collegiate baseball league in Bethesda, Maryland. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts from York College of Pennsylvania.
